Ahead of Your Visit to our Photography Studio in Northamptonshire
How long does a session last?
We allow 1.5 hours per studio session, this can change based on the amount of people in the studio and we also tailor this to allow for baby changing, tea breaks and different shots.
What should we wear?
Anything that reflects your personality – bring your ballet shoes, football boots and any props that you may want to use, the more the merrier, we have a changing room where you can hang your clothes and change into them throughout the session. Our photographers will happily advise what to wear on the day as they know what colours stand out and what works best. We advise you not to wear white.
How many pictures would you normally prepare for us to choose from?
After snapping on average 150 photos on the day we select, edit and prepare the best 30-40 for you to peruse and choose from.
Can we bring a group? What is the maximum number of people?
Of course, we are a family portrait studio so we are used to seeing lots of smiling faces. We can fit a maximum of 15 people in, however due to our fabulous location we can capture much larger groups outside, weather permitting, please contact us for a bespoke experience.
Do you do offer any photography services on location / outside of your studio?
Primarily we are studio photographers however we have captured a few events outside the studio – including weddings, birthday parties and corporate events.
Can we have black and white as well as colour options?
Yes, our artwork and creative edge allows us to use many ideas and change the tone, colour and lighting of each photo.
How long does it take to get the final prints and frames?
Depending on diaries, we invite you back into the viewing room approximately 2 weeks later. Including proofing and sending your order into production we allow 4-6 weeks. We can arrange collections closer to your home.
Do I have to choose my photos at the viewing?
We encourage you to make a decision whilst you can see the images as we believe that once you leave the viewing room you have forgotten not only how the photo looks but how it made you feel which we think is just as important. We do offer a ‘proofing service’ as part of your experience which allows for final decisions on orders to be made in the comfort of your own home.
Do I have to pay for my order at my viewing?
As a professional company, producing bespoke items for clients, it is important to have a financial commitment before production starts. We offer flexible payment methods where you can place 20% deposit and pay in stages whilst your work is in production. Once you have collected your products, payments can be extended for an additional 6 months with agreement.
